Information We Collect

We may collect the following information when you use the app:

• Account information, such as your name and email address.
• Church membership information, such as your church, member role, admin status, and team assignments.
• Scheduling information, such as services, recurring services, role assignments, unavailable dates, and fill-in requests.
• Song and service information, such as song selections and service notes added by members.
• Notification information, such as notification preferences, device push subscription identifiers, notification history, and delivery-related records.
• Technical information needed to operate the app, diagnose issues, and keep accounts secure.

How We Use Information

We use this information to:

• Create and manage user accounts.
• Show church schedules and member assignments.
• Help admins organize services, roles, members, reminders, and song types.
• Send service reminders, fill-in requests, fill-in accepted alerts, and song update notifications.
• Let members mark unavailable dates.
• Support password reset, sign out, and account deletion.
• Maintain app security and reliability.

Service Providers

Music Ministry uses trusted service providers to operate the app:

• Supabase provides authentication, database, and serverless function services.
• OneSignal provides push notification delivery.

These providers process information only as needed to provide app functionality.

Push Notifications

If you allow notifications, Music Ministry may send push notifications for service reminders, fill-in requests, fill-in accepted updates, and song/service updates. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings.

Location

Music Ministry does not use your location. A location permission description may appear in the app package because a notification library can reference location-related APIs, but the app does not request or use location for its features.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information with advertisers. Information may be processed by service providers as described above or when required by law.

Data Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards to protect information, including encrypted network connections. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect user data appropriately.

Account Deletion

Users can request account deletion from the Profile tab in the app. When an account is deleted, Music Ministry attempts to remove the user's account and related app data from the database where possible. Some records may be retained if required for security, legal, or operational reasons.

Children's Privacy

Music Ministry is intended for church team coordination and is not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it if appropriate.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Updates will be posted at this URL with a new effective date.
